If thats what you want to do. Just put storage insurance on the car you are not driving at the time, only costs like $40 a year.
I have a classic Mustang for sale and a person keeps asking how much the car insurance will be so he can buy.?
Im assuming that you are not an insurance agent so just tell them to check with an insurance company as you cannot possibly tell them anything. Do not provide any vital information. Year, make, model and mileage is all any insurance company needs to provide them with a quote. This actually sounds like you might have a scammer on your hands, do not be surprised if next they ask you for your bank information so they can transfer the purchase amount plus a few thousand dollars and ask you to wire the change back to them to pay for shipping. If this does happen, delete the email and move on.

I would suggest Progressive, I just switched to them from Esurance and my premium is about half of what it was with Esurance, and the coverage is the same, even a little better in some categories. The fact you are a new driver will not hurt you, if anything, it will HELP you, since you will not have any violations that will up the price of your insurance. In addition to this, you are 26, most isurance dropas at age 25, so you should find a decend price, I would suggest checking out Progressive. But whatever you do, shop around a bit. Hope this helps, Good Luck.
What is a good cheap auto insurance company I can buy insurance from.?
call an insurance broker and get a quote. That is free to you. Some insurance companies will assign you a credit score, some do not. (They are proprietary models- not FICO) .Insurance companies assign additional risk depending on where you live- a big city may be more expensive than a suburb or rural location- more likelihood of damage to auto, or theft of vehicle. Additionally, it depends on what you drive.
If you purchase renters insurance or homeowners insurance, some companies will give you a discount if you place them both with the same carrier. So, call an independent agent for a quote, and then compare that to the direct insurance companies like Allstate, State Farm, etc.

I currently have a Chevy Malibu 1979 and i want to have it and my winter car on the road. I want to find cheap classic car insurance so i can pay for both insurances. A friend told me that i can get it very cheap because its classic?
R:
THere are some companies that specialize in classic car insurance like Hagarty, JC Taylor, Condont and Skelly. But keep in mind that although classic car insurance is cheap there are various restrictions and you wont be able to drive it as a regular car.
You will need to prove that there are others cars for your households for their daily needs. The primary use of the vehicle is shows and parades. It will not be possible to use it as your primary vehicle to go to work.
The mileage is very important you will need to not drive more than 2500 to 3000 miles per year. Its required appraisal for proof of value. You will need to get full coverage for the vehicle.
So it is cheap to insure your classic car but because it has many restrictions. So you better be well informed, you need to have a clean driving record and be over 25 years old.
The cost for your classic car insurance can be from $100 to $150 a year.
Now you need to compare quotes from the leading auto insurance providers, is very easy to do it online, just enter your zip code to get started.

What im looking for is a company with reasonable terms/conditions and rates to insure a Chevy Chevelle 1967. Does anyone have any experience for insurance companies that specialize in classic cars?
R:
Look one of the most recognized companies for classic car insurance is Hagerty. They have good rates but there are various restrictions that you will have to follow. The mileage for a year is an average of 2,500, however ask them you may be able to get up to 5,000 miles.
Also you will need to keep your car in a locked garage, and you need to prove that there are other cars for your households daily needs.
You need to have a clean driving record or minimal violations and you have to be over 25 years old.
Lastly is important to shop around and compare rates, you can do it easily online just enter your zip code in the box above this page.
